I’m a part of the mental health Employee Resource Group (ERG) and one of the things we have discussed, was the need to normalise talking about mental health and that more senior people talking about their experiences was an impactful way to do this. There will be lots of people suffering with a variety of mental illnesses and I really want them to be able to talk and have others understand what they are going through. I feel very passionate about making it easier for us all to talk about these things.

Part of reason I love Brit is the response from them to people supporting or caring for others. Brit was so supportive of me which has created an amazing emotional bond with this company. At Brit we want to create spaces so that people feel they can talk and, in turn, have the security that they can then do what they need to do to look after someone. This is a real priority for our ERG on mental health; empowering us all to feel comfortable sharing is so important.  Anyone at Brit can reach out to me or come to the ERG. I am always happy to talk if I can help, point someone in the right direction or give a perspective.
