Andie Welsch has held a number of (re)insurance sector leadership roles in Lloyd’s, North America, the Caribbean and Europe, working internationally across the industry as a broker, reinsurer and attorney. Most recently she was Executive Director, Office of the CEO, at Willis Re, where her responsibilities included, among others, managing new and existing clients, the set up and development of joint venture Lloyd’s Special Purpose syndicates, developing new reinsurance business, raising Lloyds capital, helping restructure the reinsurance division and so on. Prior to this she held senior positions in business development with Greenlight Capital Re and as structured broker within Aon Benfield. In particular, Andie brings strong expertise in reinsurance structures, the management of Lloyd’s syndicates and their capital, and the legal requirements related thereto.
