Brit Global Specialty USA continues to grow US Casualty team

Brit Ltd (“Brit”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Richards as Senior Vice President, General Liability for Brit Global Specialty USA (“BGSU”).

Mark joins BGSU effective [XX] 2018, based in Chicago, and will report to Doug Trainor, Executive Vice President, Casualty.

Mark brings over thirty years of underwriting experience across casualty classes. He joins from Navigators Group, where he was President, Primary Casualty Division and was responsible for leading its E&S primary casualty platform. Nick Davies, President, Brit Americas, commented: “We are pleased to announce another excellent hire to our well-established General Liability team. Mark brings extensive experience of successfully leading and growing casualty lines, and his nationwide network of relationships in the wholesale distribution market will play an important role in our continued expansion.”

Matthew Wilson, CEO, Brit added: “Our US team continues to see a number of strong hires, and Mark’s appointment will further complement the significant progress being made in our Casualty businesses under Doug Trainor’s leadership. This appointment is another example of the market-leading talent we are attracting to BGSU, which forms an important part of the ambitious growth strategy for our US platform.”
