Brit Global Specialty USA further expands Marine footprint


Brit Limited ("Brit"), the global specialty insurer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Frohne and Craig McGinnes to its newly formed Marine business at Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).

Will has joined as Vice President, Cargo, and he was formerly Assistant Region Head (Marine) at Allianz. Will brings almost 20 years of experience in the marine sector. He will be responsible for building out Brit's presence in the US cargo market and is based in Brit’s New York office.

Craig joins as Vice President, Yacht, arriving from Falvey Marine where he was Yacht Manager. Prior to this Craig was at XL Catlin as National Yacht Underwriting Manager. He will be responsible for building out Brit’s presence in the US recreational marine market and brings over 20 years of experience in the space. Craig joined Brit on 2nd October 2016 and is based in Annapolis, Maryland.

Both hires will report to Tom Carroll, Senior Vice President, Marine at BGSU, and are part of the Group's strategy to expand its regional footprint in the Americas by building on the agility of the Lloyd's service company model with a focus on specialty products that deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
