Brit Global Specialty USA continues to grow Cyber & Technology Practice

Brit Ltd (“Brit”) is pleased to announce the appointments of James (Jim) Patterson as Vice President, Cyber & Technology and Ryan Mimmo as Vice President, Cyber & Technology for Brit Global Specialty USA (“BGSU”). Jim and Ryan report to Jeff Norton, Senior Vice President, Cyber and Technology and are based in San Francisco and New York, respectively.

In these roles, Jim and Ryan will be responsible for underwriting and supporting the continued growth of BGSU’s successful Cyber & Technology offering.

Jim joins BGSU from AIG where he worked as a Cyber Specialist. In this position, Jim took an active role in educating clients and insurance brokers on cyber exposures and loss prevention methods. Prior to this, Jim was a Senior Underwriter at AIG specialising in cyber and technology coverage.

Ryan comes to BGSU from NAS Insurance, where he was Assistant Vice President, Technology E&O and Cyber Liability. He previously held claims and underwriting roles across cyber, technology and professional liability at Zurich North America, Marsh & McLennan Companies and ACE. These hires follow the appointment of Jeff Norton to the role of Senior Vice President, Cyber & Technology from Beazley USA in 2018, and support the further growth of BGSU’s Cyber & Technology offering, launched in 2017.
