Brit Ltd (“Brit”) announces the appointments of Garick Zillgitt, Vice President, Primary General Liability and Justin Magee, Vice President, Excess Casualty to Brit Global Specialty USA (“BGSU”).

The two appointments represent a strengthening of BGSU’s Casualty portfolio, led by Doug Trainor, Executive Vice President, Casualty. Garick will report to Mark Richards, Senior Vice President, General Liability and Justin to Jon Liening, Senior Vice President, Excess Casualty.

He joins from Swiss Re where he was Vice President, responsible for western region territory wholesale produced E&S Casualty business. Justin joins BSGU from Redstone Underwriters, where he was a Senior Vice President, focussed on contractors’ general liability. These hires follow a period of sustained growth for BGSU’s Casualty and Professional Lines offering, most recently with the appointment of Mark Richards as Senior Vice President, General Liability in 2018.
