It’s an exciting time to join Brit as we're transforming our Technology and Data team.
As a Business Analyst in the Tech and Data team, you’ll be working with product owners, scrum masters and agile teams to identify and improve tools, systems and platforms that enhance Brit’s ability to create innovative solutions and services for our customers.
Working on a cloud-first platform in an agile development environment, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn software methodologies, the latest cutting-edge technologies and work with business users to develop the skills required to pursue a career as a Tech and Data analyst.
The graduate programme will consist of a two-year placement within the Brit Tech and Data projects team to aid you in developing a well-rounded understanding of the skills required to build a successful career in Technology and Data.
The scheme will also provide an overview and exposure to other departments at Brit, which will lead to an in-depth understanding of the business.
Applications are open until 14th December 2023
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far on the Tech and Data graduate scheme. I have worked on a wide range of projects. My first rotation involved two projects, for Finance and HR, which were completely different and allowed me to develop a wide variety of knowledge and skills needed for a Business Analyst. I am now working on a Cyber Product, allowing me to expand my knowledge in the insurance industry, which I knew very little about a year ago.
There is a great working culture at BRIT, one of the first things I noticed during my first few weeks was how friendly and approachable everyone is. Throughout my rotations I have never been afraid to ask questions as everyone has been incredibly helpful. A key thing that I was looking for when applying to graduate schemes was the ability to keep learning and have a mentor to learn from. I have a mentor at Brit who I meet with weekly, helping me to grasp the role of a Business Analyst and how the insurance industry works in general.
Looking back at when I first started at Brit, I have learnt a large amount about tech and insurance. I am always looking to develop myself in all aspects and feel that Brit has helped nurture this."
