At Brit, we believe that the uncertainty of the future should never stand in the way of progress.

We're a global insurance and reinsurance business specialising in complex, commercial risk. We develop client solutions and technology-led services that not only lead the market, but drive the future.

We write the future of risk for our brokers and clients; from insuring satellite missions and managing the risks of cyber-attacks to protecting buildings from extreme weather events. We also insure a wide variety of people and property, from sports and movie stars to racehorses and art collections.

We're mindful of our impact on the environment and take steps to reduce and offset our carbon footprint. We encourage our employees to take part in charitable activity, volunteering and fundraising. We sponsor Team BRIT, a competitive, all-disabled motor sport team; a school based in one of the largest slums in Kenya and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Together, we can also write your future; one that’s based not just on progressing, but on thriving – both professionally and personally.

Do you believe your values match our culture?

  • We treat people fairly – always conducting ourselves with honesty and integrity
  • We think proactively, which helps us (and our clients) live life on the front foot
  • We speak with openness, consistency and clarity
  • We take time to make thoughtful, disciplined decisions
  • We place innovation at the heart of our business

Brit’s Graduate Scheme – how it works

The Graduate Scheme runs for two years from 28 September 2020. In your first week you’ll follow an enhanced induction programme. This helps you create your best first impression – and brings you up to speed with the basics of the insurance market. After that, you’ll be working as part of a team alongside our talented professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience in your chosen career path. This includes working towards a relevant qualification – with a mentor to support you throughout.

The closing date for applications is 28 February 2020.
