This role has responsibility for creating, developing and managing distribution partner relationships with
both existing and new/prospective sources of business for Brit’s e-trading program in the US market
place. This role will work in partnership with the underwriting product owner(s) to ensure there is a fit
with each distribution partner, enabling Brit to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

The E-trading sales manager will work to drive profitable premium growth for Brit’s e-trading distribution
stream. This will be achieved by constant interaction with brokers, coverholders and key individuals
across the US to market Brit’s e-trading products and technology capabilities as well as providing a
strong feedback loop for product innovation and service.

This role will involve extensive travel to visit brokers, coverholders and other potential distribution
partners.


Internally, the E-trading sale manager will working with Underwriting and Distribution (specifically etrading) with a focus on 1) evaluating the effectiveness of branding, marketing/advertising and business
development methods and making recommendations to improve production/take up with distribution
partners, 2) evaluating the effectiveness of our distribution strategy and partners and making
recommendations to onboard previous relationships as well as creating a prospect pipeline to increase
and implement a strategy to improve success rate, 3) Reviewing and sharing performance data with all
key brokers, coverholders and other distribution partners on a regular basis 4) providing feedback on
competitor offerings (both in terms of the core underwriting products and the technology platform) and
identifying opportunities to improve value proposition and retain competitive advantage from both a
product and technology platform standpoint and 5) providing feedback on servicing and technofunctional pain points that are limiting production/take up. This will involve oversight on service level
agreements for broker referrals to underwriters and providing input into the delivery user experience and
product parameters.
