Brit Insurance, the international general insurance and reinsurance group, today announces the appointment of Stuart Anderson as Senior Representative in its Australian representative office in Sydney. Reporting to Managing Director Mike Davidson, he takes up his new position on the 17th May 2010.
Stuart joins Brit Insurance from Insurance Australia Group (IAG), where he held a number of senior roles. Most recently, he spent two years as Senior Manager of Reinsurance Underwriting, Australia. Prior to this, he was Senior Manager of Reinsurance Underwriting, International, also at IAG.
In his new role, he will support Mike Davidson in the marketing and promotion of Brit Insurance throughout the Australian and New Zealand markets, develop new and existing broker and cedant relationships and oversee customer service for the region. He will also be responsible for business analysis.
