Brit Insurance appoints UK Distribution Leader, Small Business & Personal Lines

Brit Insurance, the international general insurance and reinsurance group is pleased to announce the appointment of Vivek Banga to the position of UK Distribution Leader. He takes up his new role immediately and will report to Simon Cooter, Director, UK Market Management and Regional Operations.

Vivek Banga has over a decade of experience in the UK insurance industry and joins Brit Insurance from NIG, where he was latterly Head of Business Development. In this role his remit included developing strategy, sales and distribution of commercial broker e-business. Prior to this, he was Head of E-Commerce Distribution, developing successful and award-winning channels for e-trading with commercial brokers. He also spent two years at Churchill Insurance as Head of Offshore Business Processing. His previous experience includes advisory and sales roles at Ernst & Young and Eagle Star.
