In-orbit

In-orbit insurance is a natural extension of the launch policy.

This type of policy covers the satellite on an annual basis during its regular operations in-orbit. The design life of a spacecraft can be up to 15 years and cover is provided for damage to or failure of the satellite to provide communications capability, measured against its original specifications.

Meticulous attention is given to providing a bespoke wording for each risk. These can vary greatly depending on the type of satellite and its intended use.
