Our Reinsurance Claims Team has many years of combined experience in the wide range of reinsurance products written.

They are committed to ensuring that our technical knowledge and skills are used to resolve clients' claims fairly and consistently. Our specialists work closely with our underwriters and brokers to understand the specific nature of the contracts and business. We travel extensively to visit clients and build relationships, actively liaising with brokers to maintain clear channels of communication.

Anthony Skingle

Anthony Skingle
Head of Reinsurance Claims

Tony has over 30 years’ experience in both direct insurance and reinsurance claims with both the Company and Lloyd’s markets. In 1987 he joined Wren Underwriting Syndicate 735 and was appointed the Reinsurance Claims Manager of Brit Reinsurance in 2002 with overall responsibility for the Property, Casualty and Marine claims team.


Paul Dunne

Paul has over 30 years’ experience handling insurance and reinsurance claims both in the Lloyd’s and Company markets. He joined Brit Insurance in November 2005 and has primary responsibility for the Casualty account which covers International and North American treaty claims.


Marc Crowlands

Marc Rowlands
Senior Claims Adjuster

Marc has over 18 years’ experience in Lloyd’s and Company market claims. He joined Wren Syndicates in 1990 dealing with Marine Reinsurance claims and, following a short time with a Broker, returned to Brit Insurance in 2000. Marc deals with claims on the Property, Casualty, Liability, Marine and Aviation accounts, and has primary responsibility for the Australasia account.


Tony Nantais

Tony has worked in the financial services and insurance industries since graduating with an Economics degree in 1998. Since 2001 he has specialised in Reinsurance claims across a broad spectrum of classes including Property, Marine, Aviation and Casualty. He joined Brit Insurance in 2004 and now has primary responsibility for the European Property account. He is also actively involved in the US and International Property classes along with the Marine and Casualty accounts.
