How do I find an underwriter’s contact details?

How do I find an underwriter who writes a particular class of business?

You can either browse the class specific sections of our Insurance or Reinsurance pages, or use our Find a Brit Insurance Contact tool.

How do I notify a claim?

The claims process varies depending on the class of product. Personal motor and other claims can be notified using our Notification of Loss telephone numbers – please refer to How to make a claim. All other types of claims should be discussed direct with the underwriter.

What is Brit Insurance's current Financial Rating

Where can I find wordings?

Most UK products have downloadable wording, simply navigate to the product page for the policy class you are interested in. Where wordings are not available to download, please contact the underwriter in your local Brit Insurance office. We are not currently able to provide wordings online for our international or reinsurance products.
