The importance of claims

One of the defining moments in any customer-insurer relationship is the response to a claim. We aim to provide support in what can be a trying time. We offer professional guidance towards loss mitigation and seek to restore normality as soon as practicable for customers whose businesses have suffered.

Each claim is an opportunity to support clients and brokers using our expertise in third party defence, balance sheet protection, loss minimisation, restoration and business continuity. We aim to ensure fair, equitable and speedy resolution of covered claims.

Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
Our UK claims service has been reviewed and developed in line with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) TCF principles. For each business class, a mission statement and service promise exists, within a Brit Insurance UK Claims Charter. In-depth customer care training has been provided to the entire UK claims team.
