Our sponsorship strategy focuses on developing a successful and recognisable identity among intermediaries and potential customers.

Cricket
Research has shown that there is a very close correlation between our target audiences and the followers of cricket. Cricket offers us first-class opportunities to raise awareness and build relationships with intermediaries and clients. It also creates excellent all-round media coverage.

We have been building our involvement in cricket over the past six years – from our inaugural sponsorship of Surrey County Cricket Club and the Brit Insurance Oval from 2004 to 2010, to our involvement as Insurance Partner of the Test Match Grounds, broadcast sponsor of test match cricket on Sky Sports, Senior Commercial Partner of the Professional Cricketers' Association and principal partner of Chance to Shine

In January 2010 we became the principal Team Sponsor of England Men's, Women's, Lions, Disability and Under 19 Cricket, a partnership that will last for an initial four-year period. As a result, Brit Insurance branding now appears on all England teams’ shirts and kit.

Sponsorship of the national teams helps build, consolidate and reinforce awareness and perceptions of the Brit Insurance brand among target audiences that we know closely follow the game. This high profile, wide-reaching sponsorship enhances our credentials and stature as a leading international general insurance and reinsurance group.
