Insurance Day London Market Awards 2010 – Young Underwriter of the Year
North American Professional Indemnity Underwriter, Jonathan Mudd, has been awarded Young Underwriter of the Year at Insurance Day's London Market Awards.
Richard Banks, editor of Insurance Day, said: “Jonathan was hailed for having an exceptional ability to see opportunities in professional liability risks, frequently finding creative solutions to resolve transactions. His business acumen combined with his significant contribution to developing young talent in the London market made him an outstanding candidate.”
Chartered Insurance Institute’s Rutter Prize – Alan Groves
Alan Groves, Reinsurance Contracts Manager for its Reinsurance business unit, has been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Rutter Prize, one of the Institute’s highest accolades. The medal is awarded annually to the best new Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).
British Insurance Awards 2009 Winner
We were voted ‘Underwriter of the Year’ at the 2009 British Insurance Awards for our Brit Lite proposition. The team was commended for marrying good underwriting with technology.
Brit Insurance was also finalist in the ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ and ‘Customer Care’ categories.
Reactions London Market Awards 2009
In June 2009 Brit Insurance was voted “Best Reinsurance Company Underwriting Casualty” at Reactions’ annual London Market Awards. The Casualty team was commended for its commitment to the underwriting of a wide range of classes and its excellent service.
Insurance Day London Market Awards 2008 – Young Underwriter of the Year
Assistant Underwriter – Energy, Sara Valentine was announced Young Underwriter of the Year at the Insurance Day Awards 2008. Tom Rowley, Class Underwriter, US Property, was placed as a highly commended runner up.
Young Underwriter of the Year is awarded to a ‘star of the future’; someone with a good knowledge and understanding.
