BLOCK LISTING APPLICATION

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 883,472 ordinary shares of EUR1 each collectively under the Brit 2003 Insurance Executive Share Option Scheme and the 1998 Approved Executive Share Option Scheme (as adopted by the Company in December 2009) to be admitted to the Official List and to trade on the London Stock Exchange. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
