Upstream exploration and production products range from major offshore installations, pipelines and mobile units to our specialist onshore North American Operators Extra Expense programme for drilling and producing wells.

Downstream we underwrite a broad range of refineries and petrochemical facilities. Our Utilities product encompasses traditional generating technologies and renewable power generation.

Brit offers a packaged product in the subscription market with expertise in both the leadership and following roles.

Brit underwrites a small nuclear account through various Pooling arrangements around the World and by way of resinsurance.  Coverage is predominantly provided to nuclear power stations, fuel fabrication and reprocessing facilities including radioactive contamination and clean-up and a restricted amount of terrorism and third party liability.
