Brit Insurance appoints Phil Dancaster as Motor Underwriter

Brit Insurance Holdings PLC ("Brit Insurance"), the UK-based international general insurance and reinsurance group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Dancaster as Motor Underwriter.

Phil takes up his position in Brit Insurance's Birmingham office immediately, reporting to Alan Liddiard, Brit UK’s Central and South West Regional Manager.

Phil has 22 years of industry experience and joins Brit Insurance from Norwich Union, where he spent over 20 years working in motor fleet insurance. He was most recently a Trading Underwriter in its Commercial Fleet division. In this role, he handled new business, renewals and company procedures, working with a team of 10 underwriters. He began his career at Britannic Insurance and Midland Bank.
