Brit Insurance appoints Chris Williams as Underwriter - Bloodstock

Brit Insurance Holdings PLC ("Brit Insurance"), today announces the appointment of Chris Williams to the Bloodstock Team reporting to Robin Blunt, Brit's Bloodstock Underwriter. He takes up his position immediately.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the bloodstock insurance industry and joins Brit Insurance after five years with SBJ Nelson Steavenson, where he was a Divisional Director of its bloodstock division. In this role, he was responsible for increasing brokerage incomes and developing overseas business. Prior to SBJ, he spent 14 years at Robert Fraser Insurance Brokers, becoming a Director in 1999. He has also worked for Howson Devitt and Ropner and began his career as a trainee at Lloyd’s broker Cork, Bays and Fisher

David Knight, Head of Brit Insurance's Accident and Health Division, commented:
