BRIT FURTHER STRENGTHENS ITS CASUALTY UNDERWRITING TEAM

Brit Insurance Holdings PLC ('Brit'), the UK general insurer, is delighted to announce the appointment of four further underwriters to join the Casualty team.
Peter Battle joins as Financial Institutions Underwriter. Peter has 20 years' experience of Non-Marine underwriting, most recently as a Director of Limit Underwriting Limited.
Martin King joins as UK and International Professional Indemnity Underwriter. Martin comes to Brit from Goshawk Syndicate Management where he established the Professional Indemnity account and developed £20m of premium income over the past 3 years. .
Angela Lawrence joins as UK Professional Indemnity Underwriter. Angela was with R J Kiln (Link Insurance) as Professional Indemnity Underwriter until 2001. In 2002, Angela joined Heath Lambert Group Ltd where she accepted a temporary contract as their Professional Indemnity and Directors' and Officers' Broker.

Terry Allen also joins us from Goshawk Syndicate Management to join the Casualty team as Professional Indemnity Underwriting Assistant.
