Neil Eckert, Chief Executive of BRIT Insurance Holdings PLC, said: 'The revised forecasts show a slight improvement from the motor syndicate 1202's 1999 year. All other syndicate forecasts are unchanged. Adverse US$/£ exchange rate conditions are producing additional stress on market forecasts, so it is satisfactory that previous forecasts on our syndicates continue to hold.'
