In January 2010, for an initial period of 4 years, Brit Insurance became the principal team sponsor of the England cricket teams.  In particular it means that the Brit Insurance logo now appears on all apparel worn by the England men’s and women’s cricket teams as well as the England Lions, England Under-19s and all England disability teams.

The England team sponsorship complements our extensive involvement with cricket that we have been building since 2004 - from our inaugural sponsorship of Surrey County Cricket Club and the Brit Insurance Oval, to our subsequent involvement as Insurance Partner of the Test Match Grounds, broadcast sponsor of domestic Test match cricket in 2008 and 2009 on Sky Sports, and a Senior Commercial Partner of the Professional Cricketers’ Association.

At grass roots and community levels, we are active in and support a wide number of initiatives including playground marking schemes and local coaching, disability cricket, schools cricket and education-based activities.
